Red Hornet Gaming is a company that develops and produces video games. We have been in the industry for five years. Under our new company name “Red Hornet Gaming” we hope to achieve our goal in producing our latest project into a triple a game. Our latest project is still in early days but we have concluded that it is an action adventure survival horror.
Target Audience:
Even under our old name we strived to create action and horror games and we continue to keep our audience and fan base the same because we find their support invaluable into our success and our ability to reinvent our company under our new name. We plan to branch out slightly but we intend in keeping our core fundamentals in every one of our games.
Long Term Goal:
Our long term goal is to continue to create new IP’s that stand out on the market yet keep our fundamentals. We are also intending to make a monthly subscription for our new IP to keep an always online universe that we will be continuously updating to keep the game fresh and ever changing. We hope with these new aspects to our game we can reel in people who are into the MMO and RPG genre by creating this new always online universe we are integrating into our new IP.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
The name of our company is Red Hornet Gaming so I would obviously like a hornet and the colour red implemented into the logo.
Attributes:
The colour red is used to represent extremes, danger and adventure. These three things are aspects that are found in our games, this is why I chose the colour red for our company. The colour red it represents danger, the hornet is a dangerous insect that is precise when it attacks with its stinger. The precision of the Hornet is another reason it represents our studios precision and commitment when working on our games.
Slogan:
“Precision for the Players”
The reasoning behind our slogan is, we are telling our audience that our games are made with precision they have always been known for that has allowed us to refresh our company under a new name and continue to produce new IP’s for our audience.
Placement of Logo:
Our logo will be used on our headquarters of course and all of our merchandise, website, business cards and Emails etc.

Competitors:
Electronic Arts – EA have been top dogs for years, everyone knows their name. Their logo is basic, simplistic and to the point. You don’t need in depth logos when everyone knows you.
Epic Games – I like Epic Games logo a lot it’s a shield and it’s big and bold with the word “Epic” standing out. The name said they do everything in Epic proportions and their names carry through that message.
Bethesda Game Studios- Bethesda’s Logo again along with EA is quite simple bar the cog/vault in the background. Bethesda is well established for numerous games and are just off top dogs so they can afford a simplistic logo.
Dice- I like Dice’s Logo, it is simplistic much like EA and Bethesda. The simplistic logo appears to be the general approach for the bigger companies is to go for a plain and to the point. As I said before the big companies that have already made it and don’t need large and extravagant Logos.
The main thing that separates us from our competitors is their logos are simplistic because, as I said before when you are the big dogs you can go for a simplistic and to the point.
